Handicap Transport Service Van

Perfect example of a Ford E-series Club Wagon modified to transport wheelchair enabled passengers.  On the passenger side is a wheel chair lift.  And notice the extended roof shell?  This provides enough headroom for its occupants who wish to stay seated in their wheelchairs for the van ride.

Lifting Loads

A third generation Dodge Ram van equipped with a wheelchair lift.  This model van provides enough space for the driver to lift into the van, switch out of his wheelchair, and swing into the driver's seat up front.  Thanks JK for the photo submission.

Can You See's Me?

A Ford E-350 Club Wagon at work. Sadly, Ford phased out the passenger and cargo versions of the E series to make way for the Transit marking the end of a 37 year model run.

Astro Van

The Chevrolet Astro is a rear-wheel drive mid-sized van manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1985–2005 and over two build generations. First generation 1985-1995, Second 1995-2005.  A quick way to distinguish between the two generations is to remember that the first generation had a shorter nose and yellow corner lights.

Third Time's the Charm

Beautiful profile shot of a late year model (1998-03) third generation Dodge Ram van.  The engine was moved forward in the chassis to improve crash protection, and the front end sheet-metal was redone with a longer nose to accommodate this change. These were the best years of the Ram van.  Sadly, it was discontinued after 2003 and it was not until 2012 when Dodge began to produce vans again.

Long and Deep

A circa mid 90's Ford Club Wagon passenger van.  Check out all of the available cargo space on its roof. The extended cabs provides extra room on the inside.  This is the perfect van to transport a kids sports team to the game, a group of illegals through the Arizona desert, or a large family to the airport. It can do it all folks!

Men at Work

Here's an early model third generation Dodge Ram van at work.  You can tell this is a 1994-98 model because of the steeper angle of the engine hood.

Wanna Ride My Board?

Here's another newer third generation Dodge Ram van. The wrap around black trim is a special touch. Plus, the roof rack on top provides its owner with plenty of room for their boards.

Usual Suspect

This 1998-03 model Dodge Ram van is very popular. In 1998, the Dodge van went through the most thorough update since its introduction in 1971. The engine was moved forward in the chassis to improve crash protection, and the front end was redone with a longer nose to accommodate this change. Moving the powertrain forward also resulted in a smaller dog house (engine access cover) which increased front interior room and allowed better access when moving between the front seats.

Need a Lift?

Mid 90's third generation Dodge Ram Van.  A wheelchair lift is likely installed inside the cabin.

Hey Kids!

This 1998-03 year model Dodge Ram van is either an easy business model or an easy setup.  You decide.  I'm sure this is an innocent entrepreneur on his way to his next spot at the playground to sell ice cream.

Heavy Load

Here's a utility van at work. Appears to have a heavy load in the back.  Hmmm.

Head Room

This 1971-77 Street model Dodge van has plenty of head room and appears to be air conditioned inside.
